About Antje Chenoweth
Antje Chenoweth joined Bellallusion in 2002 when she moved to Columbus from Dresden, Germany and began a three year decorative painting apprenticeship with founder Katy Raine. Antje grew up in Germany and studied business at the Technische Universitaet Dresden prior to her move. Art and design have always been a passion of hers and decorative painting provided Antje the opportunity to explore and utilize her creative side. In 2004 when Katy relocated, Antje took over Bellallusions and has since been the creative force behind Bellallusions in Ohio. Antje’s eye for detail and innate sense of color and texture have led her to build a very successful business. Antje believes in the importance of continuing her education and has attended many professional classes and trade shows throughout the years. Antje has participated in numerous Central Ohio BIA Parade of Homes, several Designer Showcase exhibits at the Columbus Museum of Art and her work is featured in Modello by Design Vol. 1 by Melanie Royals. She has received several other mentions in local media. Antje received the APC Tob Job Award in 2018 for her Faux Marquetry Stairs Project, in 2020 for her Geode Finish and 2022 for an artistic accent wall. Antje is a member of IDAL, the International Decorative Artisans League.
